Conference Registration Information
Welcome
The Choptank Region History Network, other area organizations, and Chesapeake College welcome you to the region’s second Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Conference to be held at the Cambridge Branch of Chesapeake College in downtown Cambridge Maryland.
Conference Schedule
The conference workshops will occur on Friday, June 1st and Saturday, June 2nd.
Events Requiring Registration Fees
Conference fees are required to attend conference workshops. The conference fees include the
Friday Welcoming Reception with light refreshments. The guest speaker at the Welcome Program will be historian Dr. Judith Wellman. Workshops feature a variety of speakers and topics. Visit our listing of workshops. The Friday Celebration Dinner requires a separate fee if you plan to attend. The Guest Speaker will be author and historian Dr. John W. Franklin.
Guided Tours
Guided Tours of the area will be available the day before the conference, Thursday, May 31st and Friday morning, June 1st. There is a fee for these tours, but the tours can be paid for along with registration for the conference.

Registration
Register by one of three methods: (1) by mail, (2) by website, or (3) at the Harriet Tubman Museum which serves as the registration and check-in center for the conference. If you wish to take any of the tours offered for Thursday before the conference, we urge you to register by mail or online due to space limitations for some of the tours. However, you can register for a tour at the Harriet Tubman Museum on the day of the tour.
Register by Mail: Complete the Registration Form and follow the mailing and payment instructions.
Register on website: Provide your contact information and follow instructions for paying online.
Register at Conference: Register at the Harriet Tubman Museum. Payments at the Conference can be made by check, credit card or cash.

There are a number of motels and hotels in Cambridge. There are others in nearby Easton. Further away there are number of places to stay in Salisbury. Parking -- Parking is available at a parking lot behind Chesapeake College that can be accessed from Academy Street. Other municipal parking is available along Race Street.
